Iran Missile Attack 

What Happened:

  • Iran launched missile attacks on:

    • Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar (largest U.S. base in West Asia, ~10,000 U.S. soldiers).

    • Ain al-Assad Air Base in Western Iraq (U.S. troops stationed).

  • Attack was retaliation for U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.


Iran's Justification:

  • Called U.S. strikes “blatant military aggression”.

  • Cited defence of sovereignty and territorial integrity.

  • Attack directed by Iran's Supreme National Security Council and IRGC Command (Khatam al-Anbiya HQ).
