Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP)
The GCNEP is the world’s first nuclear energy partnership centre, located at Jasaur Kheri village, Bahadurgarh tehsil, Jhajjar district, Haryana in September 2010 with assistance of France, Russia and the United States.
The initiative was announced by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the Nuclear Security Summit held in Washington on 13th April 2010.
It serves as a platform for international experts to deliberate on key nuclear topics, including:

Innovation in nuclear reactors and the nuclear fuel cycle

Development of proliferation-resistant reactors

Study of the effects of radiation exposure
It is one of six research institutes under India’s Department of Atomic Energy, spread over 400 acres in the NCR Delhi region.
